Yoga has been pretty hard. And I still can't do a hand stand, although I've hurt myself several times trying.
The mat that I've been using is no good, and I don't feel like spending twenty bucks on a legit yoga mat so I've just been putting up with the one I have currently.
Now that it's getting pretty cold though, I really want to start running again. I gained three pounds this last month so I think I'm probably packing enough to long distance run again without getting too thin. I've been drinking rice protein shakes so I think that's helped considerably.
My parents are trying to buy another treadmill soon, because our last one we sold with our old house. I'm really looking forward to getting a new one, although nothing beats running outside (especially in the fall and spring time).
Speaking of the old house, we went inside the other day to see how the new owners were doing, and to get our mail. It was crazyness. I spent my entire life up to this point in that house, so it almost made me cry. I didn't though ;)
It was very neat seeing how different they painted and decorated it. We're all very happy to have a nice family who really enjoys it living in our house.
Anyways, that's all for now! toodles!

I can honestly say that I hate yoga. Everyone says it is so relaxing but I find it truly painful. Back during senior year a friend and I bought some work out videos to lose some weight. We got them from walmart and purchased three different ones. One was a Pussy Cat Dolls dancing work out video which was so funny. It had burlesque dancing on it and me and her looked like complete fools. The second one we bought was this hardcore girl that we could barely keep up with. The third one we bought was a yoga video with this guy as the instructor. I always thought of myself as being flexible until I saw this guy do some of those moves. We could never really get in to the videos so our workout adventures lasted about a week. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try yoga, it seems really interesting. :] What do you mean by your old house? Did you move?! =o Bahhhh! I've missed so much! lol! Anyway, haha, I'm sure running in the spring time would be awwwwesome. It's so pretty and everything is new. ^_^ and the weather! Ohhhh the weather! So purdy!
ReplyDeleteYoga. No way could I handle that. Congrats on doing it Dez, and keeping yourself active. If it weren't for my metabolism, I would be at least 250lbs. However, I may get a little use out of a treadmill, but only if it was put RIGHT in front of the tv, but that space is currently reserved for my coach. So, predictions of a Stallman workout program are highly unlikely. But, at least one of my friends is being active. Also, it may be sad moving, but the country is so awesome. Now you like by my farm! Hahaha
